Recent Case Results

  • Client charged with DUII, Reckless Driving, and Reckless Endangerment. She admits to taking prescribed dosages of her anti-anxiety and bi-polar medicine. She is arrested anyway and subjected to 3.5 hours of police tests by a minimally trained drug recognition officer. After a three day jury trial, the jury comes back with NOT GUILTY on all charges in under an hour.
  • Client charged with DUI with .07 BAC. The cop screws up the administration of the field sobriety tests. The District Attorney initially says “No chance of dismissal.” Client rejects diversion and we gear up for trial. We send the case to SFST expert and a week later, CASE DISMISSED.
  • Client charged with felony driving while suspended with potential prison time if convicted. We file motion to suppress the stop and the District Attorney is unable to prove the validity of the stop. The felony charge is reduced to misdemeanor and client receives no jail time.
  • Client charged with Felony DUI.On the day of trial, the judge DISMISSED the case for speedy trial violations.
  • Client charged with DUI after rear-end collision. Client Tests positive for 3 controlled substances and alcohol. After three-day jury trial, jury returns verdict of NOT GUILTY on DUII.
  • Client charged with DUI. After extensive motion hearing challenging much of the State's evidence, the judge throws out critical evidence the State needs for a conviction, resulting in NOT GUILTY verdict.
  • Client charged with DUI after urine test reveals the presence of controlled substances. CASE DISMISSED after we persuade the District Attorney, with expert witness, there was insufficient evidence of controlled substance impairment.
  • Client charged with criminal contempt after allegedly violating restraining order. Judge returned a verdict of NOT GUILTY after state failed to prove there was a willful violation of the order.
  • Client charged with DUI and Felony Assault resulting from a motor vehicle accident. Investigation revealed claims of injury were grossly exaggerated. The Felony Assault was DISMISSED and client avoided prison.
  • Client charged with criminal contempt after allegedly contacting the complaining witness. Judge returned a verdict of NOT GUILTY
  • Mother seeks restraining order against client to gain advantage in child custody case. Judge DISMISSES restraining order after trial and client ultimately gets joint custody of child.
  • Client charged with theft from a major department store. After extensive negotiations with corporate counsel of department store, case DISMISSED pursuant to a civil compromise. Client walks away with no criminal record.
